Access a collection of curriculum related videos for the K-12 classroom. The videos are from established companies such as Films for the Humanities and Science, History Channel, ABC-News, etc. There are new videos added to the list periodically, so check the list often.  To access the collection, you will need to ask your school librarian for the current user name and password. The videos can be instantly viewed or downloaded. Please note that if you download the videos, they should be removed from your computer or any device within 45 days.

Cloud Computing Using Google Tools
Students' varying operating systems, software and tools are no longer a problem when you use
Google tools. You and your students can create and share documents, spreadsheets, photos,
and calendars that can be accessed from anywhere on any internet connected computer. Associated links provide information on other Google tools useful in a classroom setting.

Wordle and Tagxeto - Nice tools for the visual learner. Use them to make lists of all sorts - formulas,class lists, class rules, vocab word lists, etc.  ***Please note that these websites do not work well with iPads.

Polling and Survey Web Tools

Survey Monkeyis a great product for creating surveys. Create your own free basic account or contact Pocho if you wish to use the school's subscription account to create more robust or branded surveys.

Doodle - A helpful tool that allows you to create event or choice polls. Participants indicate their preferences which get tallied. Caution: this site does contain ads, so you might consider that before using it with the students.
